RideStats began in 2009 as a collaboration between its creator and the Twin Cities Bicycle club in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While it originally focused exclusively on ride reporting and ride statistics, it has expanded beyond that to include ride registration, membership and customized content.
Today, RideStats is a service that can host all or part of a cycling clubs needs.
I’ve been writing and expanding this software since 2009 and am a believer in “eating my own dogfood”. As the president of GLR, my club has transitioned to using RideStats for everything. It allows me to effectively run my club and coordinate with my volunteers from 300 miles away. We have everything we need to manage our club.
